Bill Drummond

Bill Drummond belongs to the small band of hatemongers intent on spreading hate and bigotry in the UK.

According to his family, Drummond has a criminal record that includes drug dealing, shoplifting and drunk driving without a license.

He describes his lifestyle as a drug dealer in this statement:

“In 1974 I started to take heroin substitutes, and decided after a couple of unsuccessful break and entry attempts on shops (chemists) to try working for a living. I continued to take drugs and started dealing. By 1977, I was a registered drug addict, having reverted to drugs. I was spending about £220.00 per week on my habit which I obtained from dealing drugs.”

Drummond began his irrational rants against the Church in 2013. In 2015, he showed up at a meeting in Dublin with Pete Griffiths and other haters dressed in a pirate costume. In his appearance there, he could only be described as mentally unbalanced or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. For example, he nonsensically told those gathered: “I escaped and went to the Amazon jungle, and there was a flaming yellow ship sailing down the Amazon jungle, with Scientology paraphernalia for the Indians.”

Drummond has harassed Church staff members in Plymouth, England by shouting at them in front of the Church with abusive language. He frequently shows up with his cohorts John McGhee and Pete Griffiths to picket in front of Churches, including Saint Hill, Birmingham, Dublin and Edinburgh. In 2016, Drummond and McGhee even picketed a school in England attended by children of Scientologists.

In another incident, in April 2017, Drummond and McGhee harassed staff at the Church and the Church’s National Affairs Office in Dublin. Drummond, dressed in a green alien costume, was heard shouting in the street outside the Dublin Church. McGhee put stickers and postcards on the exterior of the National Affairs Office, causing damage to the building. The Gardai were notified and asked for security footage of McGhee and Drummond, which was provided to them.

In August 2017, Drummond, McGhee and a few others trespassed on the Church in Edinburgh, Scotland. They were repeatedly asked to leave, were noisy and disruptive and finally left after shouting abusive language at the Church staff.

Drummond supports the cyberterrorist group Anonymous, an organization whose members have been charged, convicted and imprisoned for criminal acts worldwide, including federal prosecutions for engaging in hate crimes against the Church of Scientology and its members.

In November 2017, Drummond and a friend of his went to the Church in Plymouth where they shouted and banged on the door, apparently in an attempt to intimidate parishioners and staff. Drummond also joined picketers in Ireland in January 2018 who were protesting against the Narconon drug rehabilitation program, a drug-free residential program that has helped tens of thousands internationally to start new lives, free from drugs.

In May 2017, Drummond posted a photo of some Anonymous picketers on Facebook, calling for Anonymous members to attend a hate march and gathering in front of the Church. He has attended pickets at Churches with members of Anonymous, and his Facebook page states that he started working at the “United Anonymous Network” in December 2015.
