This is the United States of America. This country was founded on the idea that everyone should be able to worship as they choose. This show is an attempt to turn back time and create a country where only the “sanctified” religions are allowed.

Mr. Ben Sherwood
President Disney-ABC Television Group
Dear Mr. Sherwood,
I am writing regarding your propagation of bigotry and discrimination against my church. The Remini show on A&E does just that. If this show were about any other religion it would not be tolerated.
When this very fact was pointed out to advertisers for the show, they not only cancelled their advertising, they apologized profusely for having inadvertently supported hate speech. They were not aware that their marketing company had bought advertising on your station and were appalled that this advertising was promoting bigotry.
Additionally, a number of store managers yanked from their shelves a recent gossip magazine that was promoting Leah Remini’s agenda to destroy my religion. They too apologized for their part in promoting religious discrimination and hate speech.
It’s time A&E does the same and asks their executives, Nancy Dubuc and Paul Buccieri to resign. This is the United States of America. This country was founded on the idea that everyone should be able to worship as they choose. This show is an attempt to turn back time and create a country where only the “sanctified” religions are allowed.
Disney promotes tolerance in many of their children’s films. Too bad you aren’t actually practicing what you preach. If Disney really does stand for tolerance, why in the world are you promoting religious discrimination, hatred and bigotry?
Please, take a minute and look at this series and what it is actually promoting. If store managers and advertisers are unwilling to support hate speech, perhaps you should be also. The show is tanking in viewership anyway. The only reason to keep it on the air would be an attempt to bully my religion. Please stop doing so.
