Why not do a show that shows the millions of people who have been helped by Scientology? Or the millions of people who have found personal relief and help due to the selfless humanitarian deeds of Scientologists? Rather than a handful of people paid to lie?

Dear Mr. Bodenheimer:
I am a Scientologist and have been for over 40 years. I am shocked that Disney, Hearst and A&E would pay people to promote lies about my religion on national TV.
This is very hurtful to me as a mother, teacher and citizen of a nation that professes freedom of religion.
Do you see that it is bigoted, hateful and unseemly for companies such as yours to behave in this way?
I recently had a woman I was talking with notice the Scientology symbol on my jacket and pull her husband away saying, “don’t talk to her. She’s a Scientologist.” I wonder, to this day, what she thought I was going to do to her and her husband. Do you think that would happen if I were a Christian or a Buddhist? No, because there are no lie-spewing ex-Christians or ex-Buddhists being paid and promoted by big corporations to create sensational TV by telling made-up tales about their former religion.
Does it occur to you that Scientologists have children who are being hurt by your spreading of bigotry? Well that’s exactly what is happening. Do you think it’s OK to have children bullied because of the lies and untruths you give a platform to? Why not do a show that shows the millions of people who have been helped by Scientology? Or the millions of people who have found personal relief and help due to the selfless humanitarian deeds of Scientologists? Rather than a handful of people paid to lie?
I’m asking you to get a grip on yourselves and do the honorable thing and cancel these bigoted and hateful shows you are producing to hurt me and my religion. In fact, here is a link to videos of those whose lives have been changed forever for the better from Scientology and which would inspire any right-minded person: www.scientology.org/videos/meet-a-scientologist.html.
Guess what? We do not pay these people to participate in these videos. They are speaking from the heart, unlike Remini who demanded and was paid a huge amount to spill her venom.
