I was born into Scientology. It has shaped every part of my life—from the moment my parents met at a Scientology event in Los Angeles to the day I married a fellow Scientologist in a ceremony led by a Scientology minister.
Now, my husband and I are raising our children in the same tradition, surrounded by a large, loving extended family of Scientologists.
My parents once served as Church staff, and so did my husband and I. That experience—of dedicating ourselves to helping others through this religion—was one of the most meaningful of our lives. I hope my children will one day have that same opportunity.
Though I was very young when L. Ron Hubbard departed this world, his teachings have guided me every step of the way. His wisdom didn’t just change my life—it saved it. And yet, the leader I’ve grown up with is David Miscavige.
Under his stewardship, Scientology has not only survived—it has flourished. He has safeguarded Mr. Hubbard’s legacy and ensured the future of this religion, so that my children—and theirs—can continue to walk this path. Few organizations endure beyond their founder. Thanks to Mr. Miscavige, Scientology is one of them. That is no small feat. It’s a gift, and a responsibility, carried with unwavering dedication.
So today, on Mr. Miscavige’s birthday, I want to thank him—for his leadership, his tireless work and his vision for the future.
We are here because of you.
