Why Would Amazon Support Anti-Religious Hate on A&E TV?

I consider Amazon to be a great business enterprise and have many friends who use your products. However, I now see that your company is supporting A&E’s Aftermath hate TV series, and this is far below the standards I would expect from your company and this forces us to reconsider our patronage.

Dear Mr. Bezos,

I am a European living in America. I am also a Scientologist and have been since the mid 1970s and have experienced only help from my participation in Scientology.

I consider Amazon to be a great business enterprise and have many friends who use your products. However, I now see that your company is supporting A&E’s Aftermath hate TV series, and this is far below the standards I would expect from your company and this forces us to reconsider our patronage.

The purpose of the show is solely to harass and perturb. In Europe, horrendous hate campaigns took place against the Jews. Then years later there was a hate campaign fomented in my country against Italians. I grew up in an Italian family, and although my parents were hard-working people and had their own business, Italians were branded as criminals, and it was totally unfounded. Manufactured lies were told about me and other Italians.

Now I am going through a very similar hate campaign, this time not because I am Italian, but because I am a Scientologist. The same hatred has merely taken on a different name. Same attack lines, same vindictiveness, different name.

If my Church were involved in any of the things this program implies, I would not have been an active member for over 40 years, nor would millions of people participate in it and its humanitarian programs. Tens of thousands of people got off drugs and are now alive because of those programs. We have Volunteer Ministers who go out of their way to help at disaster sites. We were active during 9/11 purely because we have a technology of how to help people spiritually in times of extreme stress.

People like Leah Remini, excommunicated from Scientology, never truly understood what Scientology is and she abused the help she was given. Now she wages her vendetta and drags other people into it.

Please withdraw your support of the Leah Remini show.

Thank you.
