Dear Mr. Nair,

I write on behalf of Scientologists in India, the United States and across the globe to inform you that anti-Scientology hate is unacceptable “journalism,” and to request that you immediately remove the offensive reference to the Scientology religion in MW’s article of April 3, “Top Gun ’86,” to which we were alerted by a member.

Replace the word “Scientology” in the article with “Judaism” or “Islam” and you will realize you have just published hate speech.

We request that you immediately strip this discriminatory content from the article.

Sincerely,

Bari Berger
