Dear Editors,

I read the opinion piece by your reporter Heather Fazio revealing her ignorance of Scientology.

Did you know that Scientology Volunteer Ministers have been working day and night—and still are—to bring order to the chaos of the cities, towns and homes of people who have suffered horribly from floods and earthquakes in Mexico City, Houston, Miami, Rockport and other locations?

Did you know that our Volunteer Ministers leave their own families and jobs to serve people they have never met, for no pay, little sleep, sweat and hard work?

Did you know that Scientologists pay for the millions of Truth About Drugs booklets and DVDs that go to tens of millions of young people, teachers and police all over the world to save children and teenagers from being sucked into the hell of drug addiction?

Maybe you did not know that some of our members helped bring the Los Angeles Bloods and Crips together under one roof at the Church of Scientology Community Center in Inglewood for reconciliation.

Possibly you did not know that in August our members brought Youth for Human Rights delegates from over 40 countries to the United Nations to join in bringing the reality of human rights to people of these nations.

Or maybe you know all this and simply don’t care.

You accept Leah Remini’s vengeance without looking at a single allegation independently to determine its truth or falsity according to your inspection.

If you really give a damn about humanity you would do more than parrot another’s vitriol and take a look at the good people do.
