Lies like Remini throws around may garner sympathy for a while but eventually the truth comes out. I hope and pray it does not take long for her to be exposed for what she is: just another greedy liar, demagogue, hate-merchant and destroyer of families.

McCarthyism for those too young to remember it is defined as "the use of unsupported accusations for any purpose."

There is a new shameful McCarthyism in Hollywood and it is just as intimidating and “acceptable” as McCarthy was in the early 50s. Today it is Reminism. Taking a play from McCarthy’s (and Hitler’s and Stalin’s and countless other demagogues’) playbook, Liar Remini throws out one unsupported accusation after another. This new McCarthyism is directed at Scientologists.

The old McCarthyism, politically incorrect in Hollywood today, was very accepted in Hollywood for a decade in the 1940s and 1950s. Time passed and much of the generation of today does not remember what it was like. I do. My father was a Lt. Colonel in the Army Air Force in WWII. After the war he had a government job in Washington as an aeronautical engineer. Convicted of no crime, he was blacklisted in 1951 and never again could work in what he was so talented in and loved. He died a broken man.

Lies like those Remini throws around may garner sympathy for a while but eventually the truth comes out. I hope and pray it does not take long for her to be exposed for what she is: just another greedy liar, demagogue, hate-merchant and destroyer of families.

In the meantime I will boycott your products and urge my many parishioners and friends to do the same until you withdraw your support of Liar Remini.
