The Muslim community of Stafford County, Virginia, having been found in the right in the federal lawsuit, and having won its own lawsuit against the County, now as of September of this year, has its cemetery. In all, Stafford County spent five years and $900,000—$400,000 in court costs and $500,000 in a settlement to the AMAA.

It was about time a show of this nature made its debut on the center stage. According to the Annual Population Survey spanning from April 2017 to March 2018, the second largest religion in the UK is Islam (representing 5%+ of the total population). This compares to the figure of about 1.4% in the U.S., in 2015.

It was Ramadan and they instinctively wanted to share their good food with neighbors, just like they were used to doing back home.
TOLERANCE
The entire premise of our nation’s founding is eliminating tyranny from people’s lives. Prime amongst tyrannies to avoid, and one of the main reasons for the settling of the original American colonies, is religious persecution. Freedom of religion—the very fabric of our country.

Then there have been a slew of high-profile tragedies including the New Zealand mosque attacks, the Easter Sunday bombing of Christian churches in Sri Lanka and several synagogue shootings in the United States and Europe. We seem to be living in a time of increased bigotry and even violence against people who are “different” whether of the “wrong” religion, skin color, gender or whatever.
