RELIGIOUS LITERACY
When the first Ghostbusters movie came out in 1988, most of my friends were in love with it, myself included. But one friend whose opinion I respected said she flat-out hated it. “Really? Why?” I asked. “Because, they’re trapping spirits! It made me cry.
MEDIA & ETHICS
Occasionally in the course of a day, I hear disparaging things about people I know and love. I’m sure this has happened to you. When it happens repeatedly about someone I respect, then I feel I have to say something.
TOLERANCE
One would think, in this new epoch of hyper-sensitivity, that casual slurs about a stranger’s religion would be “so last century.” Not so much. I’m an actor, and a big part of my life is auditioning for casting directors in the LA area.

TOLERANCE

COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
With trending, “hashtaggy” topics now an easy way to measure public mood, product sponsors, employers and others hyper-sensitive to public reactions can pull the plug on a service, product, program or career faster than, well, than a house of cards can fall.
COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
I propose a word that would serve to make a distinction between common, garden-variety bigots and those who are prejudiced towards spiritual practices. How about “spigot?”
