Grandparent still trying to figure out what I am going to be when I grow up! Businessman, volunteer, aspiring writer…

TOLERANCE
While training as an Army officer, I was taught not to discuss politics and religion. This seemed eminently practical advice at the time. However, I have come to realize the flaw in this thinking. Communication is the universal solvent.

TOLERANCE
The sad truth is that racial, religious and ethnic hatreds are alive and well in the 21st century and many new crimes are being committed in their names.
RELIGIOUS LITERACY
We have all seen headlines of angry parents storming school board meetings protesting that their little Johnny was being illegally “exposed” to this or that religious belief and demanding separation of church and state.
