Frank Scheck Meets All Criteria of a Religious Bigot

Most of Scheck’s barbs have little to do with the content of the shows which would tend to make one think he had no interest in the actual news of the Church’s new TV station.

Dear Mr. Belloni:

No doubt Frank Scheck thought he was being slick in his article ostensibly about the launch of the new Scientology TV station. But really, does your publication have to denigrate the Scientology religion, to say nothing of the country of Colombia, the city of Inglewood, and decent, religious people in general just to show how supposedly clever you are?

Most of Scheck’s barbs have little to do with the content of the shows which would tend to make one think he had no interest in the actual news of the Church’s new TV station, but just found an excuse to forward his hidden agenda. Unbelievably, he even managed to weave in a sex scene from a totally unrelated movie.

It is obvious that your article was something other than reporting the news. It discriminates against my religion and forwards bigotry and hatred. You should be ashamed.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Murphy
