Yahoo—Become Relevant Again by Telling Truth, Not Lies

This hate campaign by a former member of Scientology has really gotten out of hand. For you to be forwarding it pretty much discredits your site and inclines me to get any and all of my data from Bing. I have pretty much started doing this lately anyway, but this seals the deal.

Hello,

My name is Deanne Macdonald and I am one of the bloggers for Standleague.org. I am indeed a real person. You can find me on Facebook, where I share my blogs as well as those of my friends.

This hate campaign by a former member of Scientology has really gotten out of hand. For you to be forwarding it pretty much discredits your site and inclines me to get any and all of my data from Bing. I have pretty much started doing this lately anyway, but this seals the deal.

I especially find it interesting that you would do so when her ratings are tanking and getting worse every single week. Intelligent people abandon a sinking ship—you guys seem to have jumped aboard. Interesting strategy. Do you really think this might improve your own ratings?

When a company forwards hate speech and discounts the many voices that speak out against it, this defines that company. You sirs, are more than a little irrelevant. No wonder no one uses you anymore. Become relevant. Move out of the witch-burning mindset and actually take a little responsibility for determining if what you are forwarding is lies or truth. That is if you can actually tell the difference.

Sincerely,
Deanne Macdonald
