Anti-religious bigotry against the Church of Scientology

Gratuitous, inflammatory comments like the ones you published in your closing paragraph do nothing more than show arrogance and disdain toward people of faith.

Mr. Whittington,

Your article entitled "Joy Villa rocks the Grammys with her Make America Great Again Dress" contains anti-religious bigotry against the Church of Scientology in its last paragraph.

When writing about a celebrity like Bradley Cooper, George Clooney or Mark Wahlberg do you go out of your way to disparage their religion with snarky comments because each actor was raised in the Catholic Church? Would you ridicule the late Muhammad Ali’s Islamic faith? Or Mahatma Gandhi’s beliefs because they differ from yours?

Gratuitous, inflammatory comments like the ones you published in your closing paragraph do nothing more than show arrogance and disdain toward people of faith. We respect your right to freedom of speech and the press. You should respect the freedom of religion Americans cherish. Religious bigotry of any kind has no place in society.
