Dear Mr. Lupberger,
We appreciate that your company offers your customers valuable, effective products that don’t destroy the environment in their wake.
What we don’t appreciate is Cleancult’s latest video, denigrating the Scientology religion by using it as clickbait in a “cult-themed” advertisement. Scientology is the only religion whose name is shoehorned into the ad as a punchline, to the marginalization of millions of Scientologists and the supposed advantage of your brand.
Your company goes far out of its way to be eco-responsible. Scientologists—just like Jews, Muslims, Blacks, Asians and members of every minority community—expect you to be socially responsible, too.
To acquaint yourself with what Scientology actually is, rather than the bigotry your marketing currently forwards, I recommend you visit www.scientology.tv.
In the meantime, please cease derogatory references to the Scientology religion. Our members are not your marketing man’s punchline.
