Thehollywoodgossip part of bigoted religious hate campaign

You have the right to freedom of speech and the press. We respect that. We also have the right of our religion. You should respect the freedom of religion Americans so cherish. A better world would result.

Mr. Delott:

Your article entitled “Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Celebrate Their 11th Anniversary” contains totally unnecessary anti-religious bigotry against the Church of Scientology.

When writing about a celebrity like Bradley Cooper, George Clooney or Mark Wahlberg do you go out of your way to disparage their religion with snarky comments because each of them was raised in the Catholic Church? Would you ridicule the late Muhammad Ali’s Islamic faith? Or attack Mahatma Gandhi’s beliefs because they differ from yours?

Gratuitous, inflammatory comments like the ones you published in your article do nothing more than show arrogance and disdain toward people of faith.

In today’s world of media-incited religious hatred the only product of such a posting is to spread bigotry against Scientology.

You have the right to freedom of speech and the press. We respect that. We also have the right of our religion. You should respect the freedom of religion Americans so cherish. A better world would result.
