What is the racist—the hater—so frightened of? Men, women and children, mainly. They are frightened of ordinary people who happen to look different, possibly speak with a different accent, attend a different place of worship.
Now they are raising their own children with the same basic certainty they found as young Scientologists: that people are inherently good, and that religious freedom makes the world a better place for everyone.
How could I let my friend get away with denigrating another religion and call myself a real Scientologist? We treat other religions the way we want our religion to be regarded and treated: with respect.
