COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
Once striving to achieve success as an artist, Neil Sarfati is now reduced to seeking attention by exploiting his former religion.
TOLERANCE
Being a musician, I’m always interested in fellow artists who chart their own path and create music that is truly representative of their unique world—not derivative of what is “hot” at the time or purely motivated by a desire for broad acceptance.
RELIGIOUS LITERACY
Today we think of apartheid’s end in 1994 as inevitable. But it took the concerted efforts and sacrifice of many for 50 years, both inside and outside South Africa.
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
It turns out that we were about to hear an extraordinary update on a project involving tens of thousands of hours from Church staff all over the world. Mr. Miscavige began explaining the task he and his team had been working on for decades.
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
As a 7th grader, I visited the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., where there is a quote in huge letters around the inner dome of the building. It reads: “ I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
Though I grew up Catholic, I’ve been into many churches of different types and one thing I’ve always noticed is the same sense of relief from the world and the safe space a church can provide.
TOLERANCE
After attending university and later, in corporate America, I noticed an odd trend—the more people become “molded” into the current expectations of society, the more they become entrenched in the workaday world, the more they ignore this hope that religion had perhaps once given them. They get caught up in their fast-paced life and begin subscribing to the religious cynicism currently in vogue, despite their social media accounts preaching “tolerance.”
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
That idea is especially ridiculous because, as a person studies and applies Scientology to more and more areas of life, their ability to think analytically and rationally and make positive decisions becomes easier and easier. The entire purpose of Scientology is to bring about everything that’s best and brightest and most capable in a person while getting rid of anything and everything that might be holding them back.
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
One can spot a true leader miles away. Their certainty of ability, humbleness in accomplishment and compassion for the whole damn world and every person in it are all visible.
SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION
I was born in the South. There’s a kind of running joke about how someone in the South can insult you so politely you’re not even upset about it (if you even notice at all).
