Jack In The Box Support Kindness and NOT A&E Hate

There is a lot of competition in today’s entertainment world, but we have a bigger world to think of. Hostilities can get attention like any schoolyard fight does, but it’s very temporary. Compare those to acts of kindness you remember in school, or when someone achieved something novel and inspiring that you admired.

Dear Sirs,

I’m writing regarding "Round 2" of the “Aftermath” religious hate show on A&E. There is too much hate and bigotry in this world. It leads to senseless acts of violence. You are pouring fuel on this all-consuming fire. The nation has made so much progress towards equality—most networks include more ethnic diversity, are progressive and as artists expand tolerance of others.

A&E’s campaign is filled with bitterness and lies. I’ve been a Scientologist for 13 years. It has helped my numerous industry friends, it has helped me in countless ways, and it has helped my family.

There is a lot of competition in today’s entertainment world, but we have a bigger world to think of. Hostilities can get attention like any schoolyard fight does, but it’s very temporary. Compare those to acts of kindness you remember in school, or when someone achieved something novel and inspiring that you admired. By pushing ourselves to improve and rise above degraded art, we can make something that enhances the world. You can contribute to greats like Leonardo da Vinci rather than to the Hitlers.

Sincerely,
Marcus Coloma
