We know Leah Remini’s “Impact” award was determined by an executive committee composed of members of both the BTJA and NPAC. Eli Holzman, the Executive Producer of Leah Remini’s reality television series, sits on the Executive Committee of NPAC. In other words, the whole thing is orchestrated.

I see it is trendy to trash things one does not know or understand. The only right an elevated voice really has is to find out about new subjects, to look, search, become inquisitive about and possibly learn something new. And then from that viewpoint share the knowledge.

On Sept. 29, 1995 the Washington state jury found that Mr. Ross “intentionally and recklessly acted in a way that is so outrageous in character and so extreme in degree as to be beyond all possible bounds of decency and to be regarded as atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized community.”

Rick Ross is an anti-religious hater. He was found guilty of the attempted deprogramming of an 18-year-old Pentecostal man in an attempt to lure him away from his chosen faith. The jury awarded the man at trial over $2 million in damages against Ross and his co-conspirators for the physical violence and other horrors they subjected him to.

There is enough callous, hateful communication spread by unintelligent people on subjects of which they know nothing, for you to add more to that pile.

This is the first time in our history we have not heard from Disney’s leader at a time like this. Enough is enough. We are family.

As community partners, many of our discussions and action items revolved around preventing violent extremism. In most cases, if not all, media played a big role in dehumanizing the other.

The idea that Disney would sponsor programs that incite hatred against religions from my perspective is unconscionable.
