ANTI-RELIGIOUS PROPAGANDA
The tabloid media regularly employs an old tried-and-true technique upon the public known as the “seed of doubt.” It is probably the most powerful tool of unsettling or controlling the mind of anyone from a single person to large groups. It’s the suggestion of something invisible—often an absurdity so incongruous with reality that our minds fixate upon it in an attempt to prove or disprove it.
MEDIA & ETHICS
Occasionally in the course of a day, I hear disparaging things about people I know and love. I’m sure this has happened to you. When it happens repeatedly about someone I respect, then I feel I have to say something.
TOLERANCE
I have discovered through the school of hard knocks that the louder the false accuser the bigger their crime.
COMBATING BIGOTRY & HATE
I have no doubt that in some cases the alleged negative experiences of ex-members are at least partially true. But what about when they aren’t?

A few years back my husband and I took in a family member who was having a rough time. She’d been on and off drugs for decades—yes decades. She had pretty much destroyed her own family and her life was a mess.
