Come on Anheuser, Support Tolerance, Not Hate

A&E has resurrected bigotry with Remini’s “Aftermath” and regrettably, you are a supporter. Through your support you have become a partner in hate, bigotry and lies. This is true. I am a businessman and run the largest company of its type in America. I can’t always choose my clients, but I can choose the people and causes I support.

To whom it may concern,

The ability to practice one’s religion free of harassment and fear is one of America’s most cherished and most important freedoms. When that is threatened, we respond with outrage and justifiable indignation.

That freedom is supported by individuals, groups and our business entities, making for a fierce and formidable force. Yet anti-religious bigots are at times given a voice. Again, responsible individuals, groups and businesses push back at this and through their efforts bigots are often silenced and simply fade away.

Sadly, A&E has resurected bigotry with Leah Remini’s Aftermath and sadly you are a supporter. Through your support you have become a partner in hate, bigotry and lies. This is true. I am a businessman and run the largest company of its category in America. I can’t always choose my clients, but I can choose the people and causes I support, and I do not and will not support what you are supporting with your advertising on this hateful television show. Would you support violence? I think not. But in reality you are. My fellow Scientologists and our Churches have received hundreds—yes, hundreds—of death threats specifically related to this show. This is serious stuff.

Please take a hard and honest look at what you are supporting and I’m certain that you will run from this show like so many people have run from Leah Remini when they realized who she really is.
